EPCMD-India, established in the year 2023 under the umbrella of the Department of Pharmaceuticals, with the facilitation of the Department of Commerce, Government of India, and YEIDA, Government of Uttar Pradesh, serves as a launching platform to introduce medical devices made in India to international markets worldwide. The EPCMD is an exclusive Indian government organization to launch the country's medical devices on an international platform. Serving as a connecting link between manufacturers, the government, and international markets, EPCMD-India aims to unlock all possible export capabilities and ensure that medical technology in India leads the global healthcare system.

EPCMD-India is specifically geared to promotion, counseling, as well as facilitation regarding the harmonization of regulatory requirements, trade facilitation, as well as market intelligence for Indian manufacturers of medical devices.
